As another presidential election year approaches, it is time to examine what Catholic Social Teaching (CST) has to offer people of the archdiocese as they make decisions that will affect human life and dignity and that will promote the common good.
The conference will:
Provide helpful hints for preaching, pastoral leadership, voter registration, and young adult ministry.
Present the principles of CST as the basis for making informed judgments regarding the issues facing us.
Review the guidelines for lobbying electoral politics for pastoral leadership.
The Gospel of Life Conference is designed to provide pastors and lay leaders with assistance in dealing with the Catholic call to political responsibility and involvement at the parish level.
