the Archdiocese of Detroit, we join over 7500 Catholic schools nationwide to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. This year's theme is the "Good News in Education", which highlights the unique features of Catholic schools: the integration of the Gospel into every part of the educational experience and the academic excellence. The 2007 Catholic Schools Week logo represents these two aspects with the open book symbolizing both the Bible and knowledge. We salute and thank all teachers, staff, board members, administrators, volunteers, pastors, parishioners, benefactors, and especially parents who have dedicated their time and talents, all working together toward making Catholic education a valuable investment in our lives of our young people.
