Memorials to Honor the Life and Ministry of Pope John Paul II

For more than 26 years, Pope John Paul II served as our inspiration, spiritual leader and shepherd. Without a doubt, he will be remembered as one of the seminal figures in Church history and as one of the most influential leaders in modern times.

Pope John Paul II made a tremendous impact on the world. He was instrumental in restoring religious freedom in countries where it had been denied, deconstructing Communism, bringing about a worldwide evangelization and sparking spiritual renewal among young people. Many believe that this holy man will one day be called John Paul the Great, a title that for 2,000 years has been reserved for only three of his predecessors.

Cardinal Adam Maida asks that memorials to honor the life and ministry of our Holy Father be directed to the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. Please make checks payable to Pope John Paul II Cultural Center and mail them to: Pope John Paul II Cultural Center, 3900 Harewood Road, NE, Washington, DC 20017.
