Private School Aid Service (PSAS)
Qualifying Children Catholic children residing in the 6 counties of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Participating Schools Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Grades 1 through 12
Family Eligibility Based on Need
Term of Assistance 1 year (Must qualify annually)
Maximum Amount $600 elementary $700 high schools paid directly to the parish unless school is not affiliated with a parish.

Term of Assistance 1 year (Must enter random drawing annually)
Maximum Amount Up to $1,850 per child paid directly to the school.

Qualifying Children Children residing in Wayne County and entering Kindergarten or transferring into grades 1 through 5 in the fall of 2008 who did not attend private school in 2007-2008.  First time applicants must be enrolling in a private school for the first time.
Participating Schools Private elementary schools in Wayne County.

Family Eligibility Random Drawing
Term of Assistance Once qualified - assistance available through grade 8, if income guidelines are met each year.
Maximum Amount Up to $1,850 per child paid directly to the school.
