Parish Nursing - The mission of parish nursing is the intentional integration of the practice of faith with the practice of nursing so that people can achieve wholeness in, with, and through the community of faith in which parish nurses serve.

Project Life - the Project Life program, initiated by Adam Cardinal Maida in 1996, focuses on preserving all life, from conception to the last natural breath. Project Life offers crisis counseling and assistance for men and women contemplating abortion, assisted suicide and any end of life issues.

Promise to Protect. Pledge to Heal
To provide for the pastoral care of the people of the Archdiocese of Detroit and in particular the protection of children and young people, here is the revised policy that addresses issues of sexual abuse of minors by priests, deacons and other church personnel. This policy— Regarding the Sexual Abuse of Minors by Priests, Deacons and Other Church Personnel— is particular law for the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Safe Environments & Protecting God's Children
The archdiocese has revised and published its Policy Regarding Sexual Abuse of Minors by Priests, Deacons and Other Church Personnel. The archdiocese maintains a Victim Assistance Coordinator to process questions and complaints and is committed to a child safe environment via the Protecting God's Children program.
