Mission Possible LogoEducation/Parish
  • Director of Religious Education (DRE) - Administrator of faith formation programs ranging from early childhood through senior adults.
  • Coordinator of Youth Ministry - Develops faith formation programs and community building opportunities for younger and older adolescents; also advocates for their inclusion and involvement in all aspects of parish life.
  • Coordinator of Adult Education - Imagines and coordinates formation programs for adults.  May include the RCIA (the catechumenate) and opportunities for young adults (late teens – early thirties).

Education/School

  • Principal - Administrator of a Catholic elementary, junior high or secondary school.
  • Teacher - One at any level of education, in a catholic setting, with an expertise in one of any number of subject areas (may include theology/religion).
  • Campus Minister - Encourages and fashions faith formation and spiritual growth opportunities for students, faculty and families including  retreats, liturgies, and service.  Also relates one to one with students.

Parish

  • Pastoral Associate/Minister - Assists in pastoring the parish in areas of faith formation, liturgy, counseling, administration and/or ministering (attending) to the sick and dying.
  • Christian Service Coordinator - Raises awareness and develops approaches (responses) that involve others in addressing the charitable and justice needs of the (greater) community.
  • Liturgy Coordinator - Insures that worship is celebrated well by coordinating all related ministries.
  • Music Director - Coordinates and leads the music for parish liturgies including the development of choirs, cantors, and parish participation.
  • Business Manager/Administrator - Oversees the parish staff and parish finances.
  • Parish (registered) Nurse - Coordinates approaches and programs to encourage the health of parish members.

Beyond Parish

  • Prison/Jail Minister - Interacts with and advocates for those who are incarcerated.
  • Hospital Chaplain - Attends to the spiritual needs of patients, their families and the health care staff.
  • Spiritual Director – is a guide to others in their journey of faith.
