This week, Cardinal Adam Maida announces the following appointments:

 

Fr. Baker Fr. Jack Baker, appointed pastor, St. Perpetua Parish, Waterford Township, effective July 1. Fr. Baker has been serving as pastor of St. Mary Parish in Wayne and administrator of Holy Family Parish in Inkster.

Fr. Burgard Fr. David Burgard, appointed pastor St. Mary Parish, Wayne, effective July 1. Fr. Burgard has been serving as pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Ira Township.

Fr. Stephen Burr, appointed assistant director of seminarians at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. Burr has been serving as associate pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Plymouth.

Fr. José Del Toro, CSB, ordained at St. Anne's Church, Houston, on April 4 and appointed associate pastor, Ste. Anne de Detroit Parish, effective immediately. Fr. Del Toro has been serving as deacon at Ste. Anne de Detroit Parish.

Fr. Kaucheck Fr. Kenneth Kaucheck, appointed pastor, St. Mary Parish, Royal Oak, and St. James Parish, Ferndale, effective July 1. Fr. Kaucheck has been serving as pastor of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Grosse Pointe Woods.

Fr. Laverty Fr. Tod Laverty, OFM, appointed pastor, St. Aloysius and St. Patrick Parishes, Detroit, effective immediately. Fr. Laverty has been serving as temporary administrator of St. Aloysius and St. Patrick parishes.

Fr. McCabe Fr. Robert McCabe, appointed pastor, St. Pius X Parish, Southgate, effective July 1. Fr. McCabe has been serving as pastor of St. Mary's of Redford, St. Suzanne/Our Lady Gate of Heaven and St. Thomas Aquinas parishes, all in Detroit.

Fr. Richter Fr. Anthony Richter, appointed pastor, Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park, effective July 1. Fr. Richter has been serving as pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Detroit.

Fr. Robinson Fr. Tyrone Robinson, appointed administrator, St. Mary's of Redford Parish, Detroit, effective July 1, in addition to his continuing responsibilities as administrator of St. Luke Parish in Detroit.

Fr. Henry Sands, appointed associate pastor, Holy Family Parish, Novi, effective July 1. Fr. Sands has been serving as associate pastor of Holy Redeemer Parish in Detroit.

Fr. Sescon Fr. Alberto Sescon, appointed pastor, Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. Sescon has been serving as associate pastor of St. Joseph, St. Michael, and St. Vincent de Paul parishes, all in Pontiac.

Fr. Smalarz Fr. James Smalarz, appointed pastor, St. Christopher Parish in Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. Smalarz has been serving as associate pastor, National Shrine of the Little Flower Parish in Royal Oak.

Fr. Smetanka Fr. Gary Smetanka, appointed pastor, Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Grosse Pointe Woods, effective July 1. Fr. Smetanka has been serving as pastor of St. Thecla Parish in Clinton Township.

Fr. Vileo Fr. Stephen Vileo, appointed pastor, St. Michael Parish in Monroe, effective July 1. Fr. Vileo has been serving as pastor of St. Mary Parish in Royal Oak and St. James Parish in Ferndale.
