Hamtramck — At the end of a lavish Mass featuring processions, traditional dress and even a Polish communion meditation, St. Florian's pastor, Fr. Miroslaw Frankowski, S.Ch., introduced all the priests celebrating the parish's 100th-anniversary Mass.

Reparation Mass restores vandalized St. Barnabas

Eastpointe – Auxiliary Bishop John Quinn celebrated a Mass of Reparation and Repentance Tuesday morning at St. Barnabas Church, where vandals had broken into the tabernacle and desecrated the Blessed Sacrament last weekend.

The Babylonian exile is either over or very close to being over, and the people received encouragement from the prophecy. Detroit – In 2008, organizers of St. Catherine of Siena Academy have made significant progress toward opening the new girl's Catholic high school in Wixom. Unfortunately, the year also brought with it financial woes that will delay the opening of the school until 2010.

Paul VI moved the feast to the end of Ordinary Time. The feast is related to the theme of the Ascension of Christ, who is exalted at the right hand of the Father.

The Book of Proverbs is one of the wisdom books. It is a collection of wise sayings. When prophecy no longer appeared in the history of God's people, they looked to creation and their history for advice and guidance from God in the choices which they were offered each day. Wisdom literature, prevalent throughout the Near East, provided divine insight.
