Bishop Earl Boyea Is New Bishop of Lansing

Cardinal Adam Maida and Papal Nuncio Pietro Sambi install former Detroit Auxiliary Bishop Earl Boyea as the 5th Bishop of Lansing in a ceremony April 29 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, East Lansing.

Detroit Auxiliary Bishop Francis Reiss will be attending the International Eucharistic Congress.  Spiritual and educational programs are among the many events planned at the nine day Congress in Quebec City.  Individuals and groups can still make plans to participate by contacting officials in Canada.
