Documents regarding St. Dunstan Parish
In the spring of 2007, the Detroit archdiocese conducted an audit of St. Dunstan Parish, Garden City. Following a review of the audit results, it appeared large sums of money were missing from the parish and that Federal taxes were not being paid.
The archdiocese brought this information to the Garden City Police Department in September. During the course of their investigation, the police looked into the personal finances of a former employee and the pastor. In December, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office issued their findings to the public.
