Archbishop Allen Vigneron will be welcomed by civic and religious leaders at a prayer breakfast on Monday, February 2, at 8 a.m. in the Venetian Room of the Westin Book Cadillac in downtown Detroit.

Included among those speaking during the 90-minute program are:

  • Sr. Maureen Fay, O.P., president emeritus, University of Detroit
  • Mayor Ken Cockrel, Jr., City of Detroit
  • Imam Hassan Qazwini, Islamic Center of America
  • Rabbi Joseph Krakoff, Congregation Shaarey Zedek
  • Rev. Dr. Oscar W. King III, president, Council of Baptist Pastors
  • Cardinal Adam Maida, archbishop emeritus
  • Archbishop Vigneron

Over 100 of the invited guests — local government officials and Interfaith religious representatives — have confirmed their attendance.

Those covering this event are advised the prayer breakfast will run on a precisely timed schedule, starting at 8 a.m. sharp. An audio Mult-Box will be provided.

Media resources produced for the recent Installation Mass for Archbishop Vigneron are available at www.AODonline.org/archbishop.
