Pope's First Book As Pontiff

Jesus of Nazareth, by Pope Benedict XVI

"Jesus of Nazareth" is the first book of a two-volume set written by Pope Benedict XVI. It presents the Jesus of the Gospels as the one true Jesus, "like the historic Jesus, in an authentic sense of expression." Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI began writing while serving as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, in 2003.

The book is available at the Catholic Bookstore.
