Creighton Model

As an enhancement of the Ovulation Method, the Creighton Model Fertility Care System combines natural family planning with reproductive and gynecologic health maintenance. It has been evaluated at St Louis University and Creighton University Schools of Medicine, and at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction (Omaha, Nebraska). It is especially helpful with infertility concerns.

In addition to its use in family planning the Creighton Model can help with reproductive and gynecologic health concerns including: chronic discharges, hormone evaluation and treatment, ovarian cysts, PMS,  effects of stress, unusual bleeding, start date of pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, prematurity, and many other concerns related to a woman's health and well being.

Details about this method can be found on the Creighton web site.

A certified Creighton Model Fertility Care Practitioner may be contacted through the Archdiocese of Detroit NFP Coordinator. Consultations are available by appointment. Call 313-237-4679 or email nfp@aod.org.
