This foundational document for adult formation in our country from the US bishops is also accompanied by a leader's guide. The guide makes it easy and convenient for parish leadership groups to study the pastoral plan and begin/continue planning for adult formation in their parishes.
National Directory for Catechesis
This companion to the General Directory for Catechesis builds on the core themes of the GDC, serves as a reference point for forming catechists and developing resources, and provides practical tools for doing catechesis well in the church in the United States.  It reiterates the centrality of adult faith formation in our catechetical mission.

Our Hearts Were Burning (Seminar)
Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation, University of Dayton.
A three-week seminar containing several discussion boards which invite participants to post responses to statements, questions, or issues related to reflecting on and developing an effective pastoral plan. There are opportunities to engage directly with the seminar facilitator to receive feedback on your insights, experiences and future plans.

Strategies and Ideas
DVD and Companion Booklet – part of the Echoes of Faith Plus series – offering a basic introduction to skills and attitudes for facilitators of parish faith formation in a variety of settings.  The four segments explore the importance of helping participants get in touch with their personal faith stories, the nature of small groups, skills for facilitating small groups, and strategies for incorporating explicit doctrinal content into faith sharing settings.
