Host the 2008 World Youth Day Cross

World Youth Day 2008The Archdiocese of Detroit has received a custom-made World Youth Day cross created by a parishioner at St. Lawrence Parish. It stands approximately 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. The cross has a removable base which is 18" x 18". It is made out of beautiful blonde wood and will come with a wood burner to inscribe the name of your parish on the cross. This unique cross can be used during special prayer services, liturgies, or any planned World Youth Day gatherings.

Parishes are able to host the cross for a 4 or 5 day period over a weekend. Please register to have the cross at your parish by December 1, 2007. The cross will be available on a first-come, firstserve basis.

To host the Traveling World Youth Day Cross at your parish, email YouthMinistry@aod.org or call (313) 237-5904.
