Catholic Campaign for Human Development
This department of the USCCB is focused on the needs of the poor and disenfranchised in the United States. The site offers many good resources for parishes focusing on justice issues—including a web-media tour of poverty. (Poverty USA Tour)
Catholic Relief Services
CRS is the organization that provides humanitarian aid and social programs to foreign countries (Food Fast & Operation Rice Bowl). They have excellent (free) resources for helping groups explore justice issues. Their website also provides good information about other countries and the current situations that exist there.
Center for Ministry Development
CMD provides programs and resources for Catholic parishes and dioceses. The website has information about CMD programs as well as a bookstore for purchasing the latest resources.
Cornerstone Media, Inc.
Cornerstone Media produces both print and audio materials to help parents, teachers, youth ministers, pastors, and others who work with teens. They use the music that young people listen to everyday as a tool to spark dialogue about values and current issues.
Disciples Now
This website is dedicated to supporting Catholic youth. They highlight current issues and resources, and have on-line chats for adults and youth about issues.
Girls and Boys Town
Girls and Boys Town is a national organization that helps young people in crisis. The website offers good information about dealing with young people in crisis and offers information to parents and teens.
Group Publishing
This Christian publisher has a periodical and a variety of resources that support youth ministry. Many of these publications can be useful in Catholic youth ministry settings if there is careful attention to adaptation and selection of resources.
National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry
The NFCYM is the national organization of diocesan youth directors and collaborating members. The website has information about national conference for youth (NCYC) and adult youth ministers (NCCYM), and often has information about helping youth deal with current situations (e.g., clergy scandal, 9/11).
Oregon Catholic Press – Spirit and Song Music Resources (songbooks, piano accompaniment, CDs) Oregon Catholic Press is a music publisher that produced Spirit and Song, a hymnal for youth and young adults, and it includes CDs, music books, and other resources to help parishes use "youth-friendly" music.
St. Anthony Messenger Press
St. Anthony Messenger has two wonderful resource for use with youth ministry. Their Youth Updates cover a different issue each month—written specifically for youth, and their Catholic Updates do issues each month for adults.
Saint Mary's Press
Saint Mary's Press' mission is focused on 10-19 year olds. They have catechetical resources, prayer resources, and also create resources to respond to current issues (e.g., clergy scandal, 9/11).
St. Meinrad's
St. Meinrad's hosts a summer youth and liturgy program. This website supports that program and offers information is ideas for youth people and youth ministry.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
Information about specific programs for youth. At this site, you can purchase Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry English: Publication No. 5-004, Spanish: Publication No. 5-005.

This site describes CMD's service learning program and provides details for registering for upcoming programs.
