The Office of Christian Worship provides for the continuing development of liturgical and ecumenical renewal within the archdiocese.

Within the area of liturgy and worship, the office personnel serve priests, staff persons and commissions on the parish, vicariate and regional levels. They also serve as resource persons for archdiocesan offices in matters of liturgy and worship. They do this primarily through liturgical formal educational-formation experiences (Institute for Pastoral Liturgical Ministries), printed liturgical materials, organization and formation of pastoral musicians and liturgical consultation for renovation and building of liturgical space (Archdiocesan Architectural Review Committee).

Within the area of ecumenism, the offices also acts as a liaison and resource for the parishes, vicariates and staff offices. The main operational priority is to engage in inter-Church and Synagogue experiences. And additional priority is to collaborate with other archdiocesan offices in the preparation of the appropriate ecumenical materials and interventions.
