Success Story: Christian Crafters
At St. Colette Parish, we provide an opportunity for the women of the parish to come together and craft items for charitable giving. The women get together in a social setting and knit and crochet items, which have been donated to a nursing home, a cancer center, a homeless shelter, and the Ladies Guild baby shower.
I used the bulletin as a method of inviting women to join the group, as well as asking parishioners to donate yarn. The women are invited to craft their own projects, and they are encouraged to come when they are available, so it's not a demand on their time. For more information about this success story, contact:
