Dr. Blosser earned his BA in 1976 from Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan).  In 1980 he completed his MA in Philosophy from Villanova University.  In 1985 he was awarded the Ph.D. in Philosophy from Duquesne University. 
 
Dr. Blosser has taught at Duquesne University, Harlaxton College (England), and most recently (since 1994) at Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina. 
 
He is the recipient of multiple academic awards and the author of 4 monographs. He has published extensively in the areas of moral philosophy, history of philosophy, philosophy and religion, and on Kant and Scheler. 
 
In addition to his responsibilities of teaching philosophy in the College of Liberal Arts at Sacred Heart Major Seminary he will also serve the institution on the Faculty Concerns, Library, and Undergraduate Commuter Admissions Committees.
