Generous Support Ensures the Future of the Church
Nearly ninety years ago, Bishop Michael J. Gallagher and the faithful of southeast Michigan stepped out in faith to build Sacred Heart Seminary. They engraved the cornerstone of the beautiful Tudor Gothic building with the words of the Old Testament promise, "I will give you shepherds after my own heart" (Jeremiah 3:15).
A great deal has changed in the Church and in our culture since then. Now more than ever, people are searching for the message of hope that comes from the Gospel, and they are yearning for the merciful touch of Christ that comes to us through the Sacraments. The shepherds who will guide them and feed them come from Sacred Heart Major Seminary.
The essential work of equipping our priests, deacons, and lay ministers with the formation they require is made possible only by prayers and generous charitable support. May God bless you abundantly for your faith and generosity.
Help to Continue the Mission
As fellow Christians, we have been commissioned to share the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sacred Heart Major Seminary fully embraces this mandate as we prepare over ninety seminarians for priestly service alongside over four hundred lay students training for pastoral work in our parishes.

"There is nothing ordinary about Sacred Heart Major Seminary. We are taught by nationally and internationally recognized scholars bringing with them a wealth of experiences. We come together in an environment that is holy and sacred, to learn, to pray, to grow in our faith, and to ultimately be sent forth on our mission." |
