Special Liturgy in Honor of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha
Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha is the first Native American to be declared Blessed. Native Americans from various dioceses in Michigan will participate in a special liturgy in honor of her.

Cardinal Adam Maida celebrated Mass on May 18th at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in honor of the 175th anniversary of the founding of the Detroit Diocese by Pope Gregory XVI in 1833.
