May Happenings at The Retreat Center
- For the first eight days of May The Retreat Center welcomed back a congregation of women religious for their Chapter.
- At the end of the month 300 members of an international Catholic Community gathered for a five-day retreat. It was a family event that included young children.
- In between those two large and rather lengthy events, the Center was ecumenical in spirit, hosting twelve Protestant communities for shorter retreat times.
- In addition, three Archdiocesan leadership development groups convened in May.
- A final confirmation retreat from one of our parishes took place in the Activity Room.
- A large Catholic renewal community returned for their spring weekend retreat..
- Marriage Encounter held one of its regularly scheduled weekends of enrichment for couples.
- In the end we had offered nourishment for body and soul to more than 1150 followers of Jesus.
