Fr. John M. McDermott, SJ, professor of dogmatic theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, is the homilist for the conference Mass. He has been a member of the Vatican-sponsored International Theological Commission since 2004. Father has published widely in scholarly journals, with close to two hundred articles to date. He is currently working on four books, including one on the trinitarian theology of Pope John Paul.
