Father Daniel Trapp
Assistant Dean of Studies and Associate Professor of Theology, Sacred Heart Major Seminary
Fr. Daniel Trapp was born in Detroit and attended Catholic and public schools in the area.
After attending the University of Michigan for two years, he enrolled in Sacred Heart Seminary from which he graduated with a major in history in 1980.
He has taught at Heart Major Seminary’s School of Theology since 1989, directed the Archdiocesan Office of Catechetics for three years, and has been a pastor of parishes in the City of Detroit since 1991.
He has been pastor of SS Augustine and Monica parish since 1996. He has served as Spiritual Director of the School of Theology since 1995 and leads Sacred Heart Major Seminary Desert Formation Program to the Holy Land and Western Europe.
He has preached numerous retreats and seminars for priests, seminarians, and laity. |
